How to Draw Well
Drawing is one of the hobbies that people do. Everybody can draw but the way to
draw well is quite difficult. There are many styles of drawing. Some people like to draw
cartoon characters, some people like to draw portraits and some people like to draw
view. For me, I like drawing cartoon characters. I love drawing since I was young
and now I can draw well. It is very easy if you follow these steps.
First, You must have the proper tools for drawing. Actually, you can draw with only
pencil and paper, but if you want more than that you should have pencil, pen, fineliner,
color pencil, water color, ruler, eraser and table light. Some people like to draw on a
computer by using a tablet but this requires a lot of money.
Then, you should make sure once again that you are really interested in drawing because if
someone forces you to draw, you won’t want to be good at drawing at all! Next, find
inspiration. If you don’t have inspiration, it’s like you don’t know your aim. After that,
find some guide books about drawing. Try to start with basic books first, it’s easy to
learn. You can also look at other people's work, and try to learn from it, but don’t
copy. After that, try to draw and when you're finished, find your mistakes then fix them.
Learn from your mistakes, it will help you draw better. Lastly, draw it again and practice
everyday to improve your skills.
These steps will help you a lot if you follow step by step. You don’t have to use a
lot of tools like me, because it is for professionals and the people who wants to be
cartoonist, illustrator, or designers. The steps are very important. You can fail if you skip
a step, so try to follow the steps correctly.
Finally, I want to share my belief that “drawing is not a competition! If you see a
person who draws better than you. Don’t be jealous. We draw because we love it. Don’t
destroy the thing you love. Do your best and then someday, you will draw well
like a professional.” Let’s share your amazing work for everybody!
